Zorko’s is a manufacturer and remanufacturer of Alternator, Generators, and Starters for any type of charging or starting system. Founded in 1959 in West Newton, Pa. as a starter and alternator rebuilding shop. In 1969 Zorko’s moved to its current location about one hour north of Pittsburgh and expanded its services as a rebuilder of all starting & charging systems from Lawn & Garden to Industrial. Eventually Zorko’s started reclaiming, reconditioning and rewinding armatures, servicing many industries throughout the country. In 1980 Zorko’s became a regional distributor for ACE Electric Company one of the leading suppliers of components for the electrical rebuilding industry as well as many other OEM lines such as Denso, Prestolite, Johnston Electric, Briggs & Stratton. Today Zorko’s is no longer associated with ACE Electric Company but has established itself as an independent distributor of quality electrical rebuilding components. Zorko’s facility has grown and is utilized as warehousing, rebuilding shop, armature shop and offices. Today Zorko’s still is supplying the following and much more.
